Directions

From Dorking to our Storage in Horsham:

Coming from Dorking take the A24 South (Horsham Road) for about 10 miles. When you get to Warnham be sure to take the second exit off the roundabout continuing to follow the A24 down to the next roundabout where you take the first exit (Warnham Road). Then at the end of Warnham Road take a left down Wimblehurst Road. When you reach the end of the road, take the second exit on the roundabout, Parsonage Road. Continue down to the roundabout, turning right into Foundry Lane. Approximately 300 yards down Foundry Lane on the right-hand side you will see a sign for the Hawthorn Estate (opposite Topps Tiles and Screwfix). Turn right at the sign and you will see a bright orange Standby Self Storage sign and a green fence.

Coming from Brighton to our Storage in Horsham:

Leaving Brighton A23 (Waterloo Place) towards A270 (Lewes Road). Turn left & stay on A23 (St Peter’s Place) for about half an hour. Keep right, stay on A23 (Preston Circus). From the roundabout, take 2nd exit and continue for about 16 miles. From junction 11, take slip road left to A264 towards Broadfield/Horsham. Reaching the roundabout, take 1st exit on to A264 and then pass through 3 roundabouts, remaining on A264. Continue for approximately 4 miles then, take 1st exit on to B2195 (Crawley Road). Further, the next roundabout, take 2nd exit for about half a mile, turn right onto Foundry Lane. Approximately 300 yards down Foundry Lane on the right-hand side, you will see a sign for the Hawthorn Estate (opposite Topps Tiles and Screwfix). From Crawley to our Storage in Horsham:

Firstly, from Horsham Road, Crawley, leave the A2220 (Horsham Road) towards Breezehurst Roundabout. Secondly, at the roundabout, take 4th exit. Thirdly, at the next roundabout, take 2nd exit on to A264 (Crawley Road). About a mile and a half down, take 2nd exit at the roundabout then at the next roundabout, take 1st exit staying on the B2195 (Crawley Road). Take the 2nd exit and then half a mile down, take 3rd exit on to Foundry Lane. Approximately 300 yards down Foundry Lane on the right-hand side you will see a sign for the Hawthorn Estate (opposite Topps Tiles and Screwfix). Standby Self Storage Ltd was first founded in August 2008.  Before we opened our first site in Croydon, we looked around many different facilities, some local, some in other parts of the country and even one the other side of the world!

During our research of the self-storage market, we realised that many of these facilities missed out on customers as they didn’t have ‘drive-up access’ enabling easy loading/unloading of their goods, ‘24 hour access’ allowing customers to store/collect their goods when it suited them and offering ‘clean dry and secure units’ giving them the most essential thing of all, peace of mind!  With all these things in mind we wanted to provide the best service, we could to all our current & future customers.

The name Standby was chosen because our storage is always ready when you are!
